Overstock
When referring to overstock merchandise in the form of consumer goods in retail operation, the term refers to goods that are considered excessive stock shelves
Shelf Pulls
Is a merchandising term to describe surplus items. Other similar items used to describe the items are overstock, surplus or closeouts. Items labeled shelf pulls are removed from prime merchandising real estate and replaced by new or more in-demand items.
Customer Returns
Are items that were purchased by a customer at a store (or online) and are returned in varying conditions.
Manifest
A shipping summary that is made up of one or more shipping consignments. The manifest contains information that is used by the carrier to invoice for services
Seasonal Merchandise
Refers to a line of goods sold in a specific season or period, e.g. summer, winter, Christmas, and Easter.
Private / Store Label
Products manufactured or packaged for sale under the name of the retailer rather than that of the manufacturer.
